That sentence ended my 3-year relationship with what I thought was the love of my life, and at that moment, I felt broken, confused, and overwhelmed. All I could think about was: “Where do I go from here?”.

One day, my friend set me up with this girl, and the second we met, we immediately clicked, I knew she was a keeper.
Fast-forward a few months, we were on a trip together to the other side of the country, making memories, living our best life, and imagining a future together.

After the butterflies faded and reality kicked in, we started seeing each other’s flaws, misunderstandings became more frequent, and before you know it, we were fighting more and talking less.
